A swift ending, kind of refreshing when villain just ends up losing despite clearly being super powerful and inhuman in a all human world, no stupid long as explanation that lasts episode or two or flashbacks how he became the way he did, just showed up and gone same episode.

Camus got killed by lack of available screentime. If not for that, he wouldn't be seen as a one-shot villain. I agree that it's awful nonetheless. The series left a few not particularly important but still irritating to leave unanswered questions and dropped a "fin" despite that so yeah, in my eyes, they cut too much.
