i just think it's funny that someone watched the entire anime to listen carefully for honorifics and then add them back because there weren't any existing subs with them you could just copy from. it's one thing if there is since it wouldn't even be that much work.

It is quite touching that you care about what I do in my free time, but it wasn't really any effort. I put them in as I timed. People like different things and they like to spend their time differently. What makes you happy probably won't make me happy and vice versa, and that's ok.

why would you need to time anything? it should sync up exactly just by shifting back 5 seconds. anyway, i'd appreciate it if you wouldn't ruin my subs with honorifics in the future. just make your own subs from scratch. shit like this is why "BD groups" are useless and i still have to do my own release for this show. like i'm betting you didn't bother fixing any of the issues in the scripts like typos that people reported, or any of the diving terminology i messed up in the first few episodes.

For fuck's sake I pressed delete instead of edit. To summarise what I just deleted: - retimed because lead-ins were inconsistent and they bothered me. Happy to provide examples - honorifics don't ruin subs. Nothing wrong with having them, nothing wrong with not having them - insanely long lines were split, missing words were added, typos that were found were fixed, a TL error in ep1 was fixed (who the hell is Tsukasa meant to be? His name is Sakai Tomoki). Diving terminology wasn't looked into due to the assumption you would have covered that already - please stop being silly This release doesn't affect your ability to do your own. This release wasn't intended to compete with your own, either. I like your subs for sports series. You know I bought and uploaded the BD box set, and I know that you have an incredible backlog of things to release. I wanted to watch Dive in BD this year, and Scyrous offered to encode it while we were talking about BDs I'd purchased recently. This isn't a competition or a "fuck you" or anything like that, this is me wanting to watch my BDs with subs by someone who I trust with doing a sports series.
