Ranma Saotome is a top-class martial artist and prodigy at the Saotome "Anything-Goes" school of martial arts. While training in China, he and his father meet a terrible fate when they accidentally fall into a cursed spring. Now, Ranma is cursed to turn into a girl when splashed with cold water, and only hot water can turn him back into a boy.
Things are only complicated further when Ranma discovers that his father has arranged for him to marry one of Soun Tendo's three daughters in order to secure the future of the Tendo dojo. Though Soun learns of Ranma's predicament, he is still determined to go ahead with the engagement, and chooses his youngest daughter Akane, who happens to be a skilled martial artist herself and is notorious for hating men.
Ranma ½ follows the hilarious adventures of Ranma and Akane as they encounter various opponents, meet new love interests, and find different ways to make each other angry, all while their engagement hangs over their head.

What is this? I can find this in AniDB. Just bit and parts scattered about. Some from the first season, some from the second season mixed in. It's very random. Which on is this? If someone can please post a link to the AniDB of it. If not, if someone could check the episode consistency and post a reply, I would really appreciate. This is the first time I ever seen this anime and I am falling for it's charm. Found a problem at Set 1 Ep 20 "I love you ranma! Please don't say goodbye". It is cut off at the half way point. File is about half the size of the other episodes.
@CyberRageQuit - I looked into all of it, and found out that only Set 1 - Episode 20 is broken. The upload follows the box sets released on North America, which was a mix of the first Ranma 1/2 and Ranma 1/2 Nettou-hen. If you look into the history of Ranma 1/2, the first Ranma was canceled due to low ratings, and was reworked. There were episodes not shown in the box sets released on North America, but was in the original, and vice versa, they were shown in the earlier seasons, so that it still follows the chronological order. So, you'll really see some mix and scattered episodes.
@LuiThor - Thanks for the reconfirmation and the clarification. I now just need to find out which episodes are from where when I go to log them in AniDB. I am really enjoying this show so far, currently on Set 4 Eps. 13 "Ranma and Kunos first kiss". Thanks again :)
