Been so insanely hyped for this release ever since downloading Stardust Crusaders. Thanks a ton!

@eijig I thought the point of blu-ray releases were to release them at 1080p or 4K. Why would they release a 720p Blu-ray? Is this actual 1080p quality or am I getting the same experience downloading the 720p version and saving 35GB?

if this were a restoration of an old anime it'd probably be 'real' 1080/4K but an anime made digitally in 720p can't be upscaled. seeing as the 720p has FLAC as well (although a bit of a questionable decision) you really should just grab the 720

If you want higher quality and don't care about the file size, get the 1080p. If you don't need to have the highest quality release with the best picture, or you're worried about file size download the 720p. The 1080p definitely looks better to me. Got a weird glitch that hopefully only affected me: When I tried to play episode 5 I instead got episode 47 of Stardust Crusaders... Very strange. I am redownloading episode 5 now, if it still doesn't work I will try the 720p version.

Ok after redownloading the episode VLC simply can't load the film, when I tried MPC x86 I got "cannot render the file". Not sure what is going on.
