Why even bother?

Cross Ange got a dub. I can only imagine the fun.

x265 meme format

The uploader is based as usual. I’ll download and see and hope that you continue to distribute the way you are doing currently because you’re doing absolutely nothing wrong.

@IndoMEME & @TroublingThings you guys don’t like it just don’t download, is that easy, problem solve!

thanks for the work :)

I’d be interested in what people think about the deadness-in-the-water of h.265/hevc.

On one side, the toolbox seems good (provided the encoder is prepared to invest massively more effort than for the previous generation). On the other hand, at this point it seems unlikely to ever become an industry standard like h.264/avc, esp. in the light of the upcoming more gratis standard (i don’t mean current decoder availability, but willingness to invest in encoder optimization and produce/distribute content in the format).

ref:
http://blog.chiariglione.org/a-crisis-the-causes-and-a-solution/ (MPEG head decares MPEG dead or what?)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AV1 (more intersting than the capability is the list of backers, https://aomedia.org/membership/members/, probably all also participants in one or the other or the third or fourth MPEG license pool)

@unmei what the hell are you even on about. H265 is already the industry standard for anything you stream and all 4k blurays you buy. All 2017 and above tvs natively support h265 where hi10 is not. Might want to fact check before you talk shit.

Yeah 99% of UHD blu-ray are encoded with h.265 (pretty sure it’s 100% but there might be one out there so i’ll just say 99%). 10 bit h.264 isn’t even a real standard it’s just a hack of h.264 which is why nothing supports hardware decoding of 10 bit h.264.

If someone could please seed this so I can add it to my drive for sharing here that would be amazing. Thanks x

We really need a seeder on this. 3 leechers and 0 seeders 😞

y-y’all got any of them seeds?
