Description copied: RAW: VCB-Studio SUBS: PhallSubs DDL for subs only: https://mega.nz/#!9cFQUIbA!3NqwzgB3qDw1VUKDa6LrxRXIyOMmG-BWWOynQfwBrLc EXTRA INFO ABOUT SUBS: I started re-subbing this using Yuzuki v2 but they turned out so bad that probably not even 5% of the lines remained untouched. Everything has been properly retimed (almost every line had either flickering or bleed issues) and carefully retranslated. I finally understand the supposed widespread "hate" for this movie since the Yuzuki subs make it feel completely different. Yuzuki used the manga translations (which contained mistakes, resulting in confusing the viewer/reader) as well as google translate (often resulting in translations meaning the complete opposite of what is said). If you already watched this before, then I dare claim that it's definitely worth a rewatch with these subs.

So how do these subs compare with AnimeKaizoku? Better/worse? Pls respond
Judging by first few minutes, subs are definitely better by far. Question though: at 3:23 the mom says "tokoubi dakara..." He also later wonders why he has "tokoubi" today. From what I know of Japan, they should be on summer break on August 1st. I am GUESSING "tokoubi" means something like a cleanup day, or a mid-summer mandatory school day or something, maybe for the festival? Did you know what "toukobi" means, or did you just go with the previous translation? If this is the case, the ending becomes a lot less ambiguous, since it becomes clear what day is shown.
@homerless: Tōkō-bi (登校日) means school day
Thanks for fixing this. I don't know enough Japanese beyond the occasional 5 words. I just took the Yuzuki subs and tried to fix the grammar of the text, without understanding the actual dialogue and yeah, it turned out bad, as expected.
I'll take your word for it that this is better translation-wise/timing, but that's it. Seems that basically everything is in Arial, and that the KFX for ED has been removed. Someone should fix these subs before it can be watchable again. Prolly end up doin it myself anyway...
