Hello, I've begun working on a new project to completely overhaul the English subs for Thunder Jet, as their current state is appalling and hardly even qualifies as English. This show is a lot of fun and has a really cool OP and soundtrack to go along with a romping space opera. I also do work on another series called Cutey Honey Flash, so I will be splitting my time between the two projects for the time being. However, I am nearly finished with that project, and once it's done I'll be able to devote all my time to this one. I plan on releasing 1-2 episodes per week for the foreseeable future, but that may increase once the other project is completed. On the quality of the raws: that's the one downside to this series. The raws that currently exist on the web leave much to be desired. In fact, I've ordered my own copies of the DVDs so that I'll be able to rip and encode them myself. Hopefully that might fix some of the issues, but I wouldn't count on it. I suspect that the DVD release here in the states may just be a really crappy re-encoding of the VHS release from Japan (which is why you can see particles and specs in certain frames). Anyway, the mystery will be solved soon enough. If the raws I encode end up being a lot better, I'll re-release the episodes with the updates.
