Hi, I starting a project using like source audios shared by Animemakkuo (or like be writed) .
F.A.Q.
Usually is named like ‘hum’, in audio editing environments.
The hum is effect caused by so much reason, for example: use cheap materials by capturing (cables, digital analog converter), lack of proper electrical ground, improper insulation of electrical elements and long etc… The base frequency of the hum (usually 60 Hz for NTSC-J) normally it brings with it the appearance of harmonic waves … (see Fourier theory).
The responsibility for the appearance of this effect is usually the fault of someone who has not taken sufficient measures to prevent that modulated distortion from appearing during the capture. https://www.techhive.com/article/3063590/how-to-get-rid-of-hum-and-eliminate-other-noises-from-your-audio-and-video-systems.html
It depends, some shared audios have too many harmonics from low to high frequencies, but they have been attenuated enough so that the audio can be heard without problems, and surely who has not trained the ear or perceive the residual effects of the elimination.
The overall audio gain will be reduced because the coupled distortion initially increased the gain, therefore, if said distortion is eliminated the gain obtained will be lower
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frequency_modulation
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analog_signal
The noise has been attacked to attenuate it enough so that it does not bother, respecting the useful sound. In any case, it is better work than that distributed in the DBoxes.
I would like to know if there are people interested in completing the 291 audios, in a long time projection.
First of all, I want to express the fact that I am not a professional in this sector, therefore, it is still a job that can surely be improved by companies dedicated to audio restoration.
Is used Izotope RX, Audition and Premiere for syncing with DBox.
When an audio is subjected to transport by broadcasting, the wave received is never the same as the one emitted, during transport they suffer degradation and may suffer falls and other harmful effects.
In the broadcasting, standards are established, like ATSC in America, which establish maximum settings for their broadcast (samplerate, channels, etc …)
We must bear in mind that audio can be presented in time domain or frequency. For its diffusion they do it by frequency and therefore it is not possible to speak of bitdepth itself.
In conclusion, the fidelity of the audio obtained to the original is very far.
It would be too obsessive to think that an audio captured from a television broadcast has said samplerate. I used 48khz because is standard in DVD.
The bit depth of 24 bits has been preserved but 16 bits could be used without loss of sound quality, since to think that the audio has samples with 24 bit information is unreal, they are subjected to zero-padding.
It does not seem wrong to me that the audio was captured at those levels for its later edition but for its distribution it is useless.
As an analogy with the video, it is similar to capturing in RGB32 a video that is broadcast in YV12 format. The resulting video will not have improved at all, the data will have been transformed but the precision will be the same at a larger size, since the useful information of each pixel (in audio shows) is not increased … In any case it could degrade , due to the errors of precision that creeps in every mathematical operation.
If the trolls decide to nest in this thread, I will erase the torrent and suspend the project.
I hope you have explained me correctly.

Is this compatible with the Level Blu-ray/WEB-DL episodes too? Dragon Box and Level are nearly the same but the Level episodes are missing the NEPs, so it should sync fine with it, right?

Thank you, this is very useful for my projects. I hope you continue to release more episodes.
@SSL The timing is different between the R2Js and the Level Sets (R1s are closer although the ED is off by a few seconds). Syncing this audio to the Levels is a goal of my project, though.

Many Thanks!
Hope you don’t give up on this ehehe
@iKaos, will you share these audios synced to the Levels, once it’s ready?
Ichiro4000
Excellent!! thanks

Awesome. Can’t wait to fully download and test them. I didn’t have the balls to edit those large files, nor do I have the right tools. Thank you very much!

Downloading, supporting, and waiting for the finished project…

Do not wait until the end of the project in the near future … adapting an episode may require up to a day and I do not have daily availability for it … so a distant future is something more real. But I have never stopped a half project. Also, I am of the idea of better upload it all at once or not upload anything. This thread was more a survey.

Worthwhile projects can take months or even years and that’s fine, as long as it’s done right I think those who want it will be willing to wait.
