So, what this remaster is, is removing the artificial sharpening (with all its artefacting) from the original.

--------------------------------------------
Why is it blurrier? It's not. The original just has a fake sharpen effect, hence the haloing. If you are to remove that fake sharpen effect, on the original, then this is what lies underneath. If the image under their sharpening filter was already sharp, there would be no need for them to have applied the fake sharpening.
So yeah, it's only common sense that an un-sharpenned version isn't going to be as "sharp" as one that is sharpenned to the point of having all those intense sharpening artifacts like in the original.
And getting rid of the fake sharpen effect isn't just a matter of blurring the original. You can try it yourself, but here's just blurring the original:

As you can see, the artefacts from the sharpening on the original are still present by simply blurring it. This remaster, however, gets rid of it.
says remaster
no new master created
actually just cc and a dehalo filter on dbox
still got the blending that actually makes the special look shit
it's just shitty clickbait.
good effort but please don't do shitty clickbait.
