If you are a noise lover or don’t mind it, you have already sevaral releases. But, if you are like me, and noise hurt you as much as rubbing sand in your eyes, this release may interest you. All process were done directly from the japanese Blu-Ray. Video is denoised. Subtitles are from the **THORA** release. Don't want to nitpick, but isn't "Bubblegum" title combined as one? Anyways, nothing like a renaming would fix for those who want it. Thanks for this!!! I really wish 2040 had a BD. I don't understand why they haven't made one :\

Ah... Yes, my mistake, it's Bubblegum... Can't be perfect... ;) 2040 is part of these digital productions (the begining of them) end 90/start 2000, "unfortunately" made at this period resolution. So, unlike "old" production which master is film, the master is probably 480i (or maybe just a little more). So, doing Blu-Ray will probably not make a big difference. H264 is better that MPEG-2, so, less compression artifacts on an eventual Blu-Ray release, but no resolution gain compared to DVD. It can even be worse if they upscale badly. Me, it's Blu-Ray of Crash and the 3 AD-Police OAVs i want !! These are still films masters, so worth of it.
