@maroon1 Just watched, these are amazing subs. It’s not easy to say which is better… it’s the age-old debate of accurate literal translation vs. language localization. Both have pros and cons due to the translation approach.

It’s as lerusso says. It doesn’t matter which one you use; the movie is very enjoyable either way. These guys did a great job.

Hmm wonder how ours was handled :/ I did a lot of editing along with group discussion after it was in English. but not anything to do with the jap to english portion that was mira. I know flow and understand-ability was important to anything I changed/ suggested, but I was also conservative to avoid changing meanings lol. So this one is probably still more literal.

Why are there two mkv files? What’s the 12.5 MB file for?

The second one was a error where one of the clients tried to partially grab file and added it to directory when I was setting up torrent

I know this is old-ish release, but the subs are not that nice tbh. I was already put-off by the discord invite link you put in the subs, and not let’s get started on the styling. For those who stumble on this release, do yourselves a favor and take these Astral subs which I slightly edited instead.
