Thanks for the upload!
It seems Impakt is correct as you can see in the fabricated Blu-ray picture in the torrent info where the bottom of the side of the Blu-ray case says DVD. So this must be a reauthored Blu-ray with some sort of spanish audio added to it. It would be nice to know the source of the spanish audio and if the audio is from broadcast, Blu-ray, or from the DVD that the side of the box in the picture came from.
Also it`s really nice that this is 4:3 and the picture looks really good with a descent amount of grain and good detail. Which Blu-ray video is this originally from?
Thanks for the last screenshot. I love that screenshot.
@ mrbean
I'd bet this is the Mexican Blu-ray intact, just with a misleading fake cover (not to mention the DVD logo, lol).
Zima Entertainment did not remaster any of the DB films themselves, they got them from FUNimation whom actually remastered it in 4:3, but FUNi stupidly never released it on Blu-ray. It is available digitally on their streaming platform (or it was).
There's a few downsides to the Mexican Blu-rays.
- Text in Spanish
- 2nd Film's framerate is broken (FUNimation's fault)
- Only in Latin Spanish (in lossy AC3), not even subtitles (god forbid any deaf or hard hearing fans would want to watch it)
The movies with text in Spanish or Japanese:
- Film 1 Opening in Spanish (Ending is textless)
- Film 2 Opening in Spanish (Ending is textless)
- Film 3 Title in Spanish, Opening Credits in Japanese (Ending is textless, but the small window with animation shows the credits in Japanese)
- Film 4 Opening Credits in Japanese (Ending is textless, but the small window with animation shows the credits in Japanese)
FUNimation did an amazing job. I love the picture quality of Mystical Adventure. Just too bad they screwed up Sleeping Princess in Devil's Castle as the picture quality of that one is spectacular, too.
Impakt, thanks for all the info! When you finish downloading this, I would appreciate very much if you could confirm that it is definitely the Mexican Blu-ray or at least that the audio sounds like it is definitely from the Mexican Blu-ray. I wouldn't be able to tell myself. I would be downloading this for the video, and for my spanish speaking friend.
I'm not going to download this as I already have it, but it all indicates that it is.
However, I would download if the Castillan dub was synched, but I highly doubt that, to be honest.
Thanks, I’ll just label this as the Mexican Blu-ray. Or if the uploader or anyone else who downloads this could confirm this, that would be good too.
Here is a link to the Blu-ray on amazon if anyone wants to see the proper front cover (if this is the Zima Blu-ray Impakt is talking about) www.amazon.com/Dragon-Ball-leyend-Shen-Long/dp/B01DLXKTKI
I suppose the credits will say if the video is from Zima Entertainment, so I will post a comment to let everyone know if that is the case.
@Impakt, If you want me to check the audio for you, I would be happy to do that. I would need you to give me something specific I could look for in the audio that would tell me if it is the mexican latino dub or the Castillan dub. Maybe there is a certain phrase that would be different in both dubs, or it would be even better if you could find a youtube video that you know has the mexican audio that I can compare with.
I guess we both missed the part at the top of this page under "Submitter: Anonymous" where it says Information: https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1060808
So the Mexican Blu-ray it is.
Whoever uploaded this, if you have all the other Blu-rays from the information link you gave, please please upload them, or as many as you have. And thank you so much for this. I remember crying myself to sleep one night when I had seen that dead torrent a few months ago. There are so many people that still want that torrent, but people stopped seeding it right away. I guess nobody wants to seed such a large torrent. Even though things seem different lately, uploading only one movie at a time is a good idea.
You gave me a taste but tempted me with the rest that I cannot have, and now I need more. I am refusing to eat or sleep and the only thing I will do is watch this DVD sized Blu-ray over and over until you upload another one, or I die of starvation, or I learn how to speak spanish.
> I learn how to speak spanish.
Latin Spanish and Castillan aren't the same at all, they share similarities, but are different languages by themselves.
El torrent original de todas las películas está sin semillas, me gustaría descargar algunas películas o mejor aún si puedes crear torrents de todas, gracias por compartir.
¿DVD cover? LOL. If Selecta Vision made a dragon ball movie bluray box, they would add all audios: Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, Valencian and Japanese like TV Series Box, as long as they were previously dubbed or available.
I have the original four movies in dvd full from Selecta Vision:
1, 2 and 3 -> Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Valencian and Japanese dub.
4 -> Only Spanish, Catalan and Japanese dub.

I'd not bet on that. Selecta Visión these days only includes the Castillan dub and Catalan dub on their releases, as far as Spain dubs go. However, the upscaled Dragon Ball Blu-rays do have multiple dubs, but it's a disappointing release ultimately.
Also, Selecta Visión on DVD released two or so "remasters" of the DB/Z films (and GT TV Special), one better than the other though both are kinda cool to have just for the sake of its picture quality.
You are right about "Selecta Visión these days only includes the Castillan dub and Catalan dub on their releases, as far as Spain dubs go. However, the upscaled Dragon Ball Blu-rays do have multiple dubs, but it’s a disappointing release ultimately.",
I have the upscaled Dragon Ball too, (Vol 1) and includes Spanish, Catalan, Basque, Galician, Valencian and Japanese with spanish subs and only catalan subs for signs. The color image is a bit dark and allylated hue.
But still I think it's a decent release. It is not a perfect version, but it can be seen.
Regards.
> But still I think it’s a decent release. It is not a perfect version, but it can be seen.
It's decent and watchable, but it's not what they promised it to be. You know, remastered in high definition.
Plus, they made us also think the subtitles were going to be new, but they're the same as on the DVD release (Ultimate Edition). The DTS audio? That's just converted from their AC3 DVD files. Silly me, I expected Selecta Visión to actually deliver a quality product.
