@Spc_away Are you sure about that? According to the description it's supposed to be a proper 2k remaster. 高品質のHDリマスターによる映像で、ユリとケイが大暴れ!! マスターポジフィルムから2Kスキャンし、ゴミやキズ、経年劣化による色あせなど、フィルムに起因する物理的要素を取り除き修復!

According to what I see, it's an upscaled dvd. Atleast, TV1. No sharp lines at all.

Will you be doing 1440x1080 or 1920x1080? I've noticed you alwasy release two versions of the same release. I might wait for that one. This is still better than DVD, plus audio quality should be good!! Good work!

@Spc_away The TV1 is certainly very blurry, but I still think it's a remaster. https://slow.pics/c/4BbW6V4x As you can see here the BD has some details that are completely lost on the DVD ISO. They mentioned that they used FORS Technology (https://www.fors-qtec.jp/picture/) to obtain the "best quality possible". I've seen FORS being used in other BD upscales as well as remasters and that's never been a good thing. It's probably a software that removes grain, resulting in some serious blurrying like in this case. As for the FLASH series it looks a lot better. https://slow.pics/c/PlPE3qFh There's no doubt that it's a remaster. It's still quite degrained and far from the kind of quality you'd expect from a remaster, but it's less blurry than the TV1.

I know some people prefer compact .mp4 files, which is fine, but can I PLEASE get the raw BDMV aka .m2ts files? I'd just love to have it crisp and lossless.

Thanks for releasing it 8bit, but i really think you can do better using HEVC 10bit FLAC.

@Sts115, what will 10bit do? Lots of people want to watch on their ps3 / ps4. 10bit is useless IMO. I get you want lossless, but FLAC tends to bloat files.

There are 4k TVs with true HEVC 10bit decoding and 10bit panels .

Should be categorized as encode, its 720p average bitrate encodes not the raws. Still this is a proper remaster of the series.

Does anyone know where I could get english subtitles to accompany these files? Sorry if this is a stupid question.

How does the untouched 1080p look compared to QTS's 720p encode? [edit] I'm downloading the discs now so I'll compare later.

Surprising this encode is not bad, its about as good as the untouched file. If you look very close on some lines you can see some compression because of its lower resolution but its not that noticeable. Better to just download this 32GB 720p torrent than the 460GB blu-ray's.
