The DVDs for this were surprisingly good, which is shocking because all the encodes I stumbled across (which is admittedly very few) look like garbage. Filtering includes edgefixing, upscaling to 486p to get a true 16/9 resolution, very minor line darkening, adaptive denoising, debanding, and graining. The US BD has every version of the OP and ED while the JP BD only has a couple for some reason. I uploaded the US BD here but the JP one might be on U2 I think. I planned to upload my own BDMVs here if they aren't there, though. ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

serious question as there was never a BD version but DVD, since this is an upscale sold as BDs, how is the quality? or is it a stupid question? almost forgot, if anyone is interested in the song from the OVA, it's performed by Saeko Chiba title is more or less 'bye bye'

There is no BD release of Tetsuwan Birdy in the US or JP unless it's some sort of crappy bootleg. What is that guy talking about?
