Shaman King (Set 1 of 5) Video: x265 HEVC 10bit (1440 x 1080) Audio 1: English (Default) Audio 2: Japanese Subtitles 1: Signs/Songs (Default) Subtitles 2: Full English Source: utsubyou (Japanese) + Koten_Gars (English) This project is the largest I have ever tried to do and it is taking a lot of time. So I'm going to upload the episodes in batches of 13 (this one has 12 + OPs). This way you can get the episodes quicker and also point out any mistakes you might notice. If fixes need to be made, I will probably include them in the next batch. Now about the 4Kids dub... I think we all knew that they cut out bits here and there. Pretty much anything too Japanese or too violent got edited. Which is a terrible thing for an action anime set in Japan. I've done my best to make the viewing experience as seamless as possible. There are 2 moments where I switched to Japanese dialogue as it was important to the plot. The subs for these moments are included in the Signs/Songs sub track so you don't have to switch tracks randomly. Enjoy :) FAQ: - I have no plans to do a batch containing all 64 episodes - I will not upload a 720p version - I will not do an x264 version

not sure on 4kids impact on shaman king but in yugioh they went beyond dub changes and actually edited, cropped, cut content from video itself, so might be worth checking video source before you spend too much time encoding. quick google brings this up, with crosses, cigarettes and few random bits edited out for whatever reason; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Svbs6UGTqN0

@mitchevan1 Right now I'm not committing to any other projects. I'll finish Shaman King and then decide what I'm going to do. I have looked into a few shows though and here is what I've found: Pokemon - Doable but will take A LOT of time. Digimon - Already being done by others. Astro Boy - Doable but not all eps were dubbed. Yugioh - Some of the seasons are doable. I personally would just do 5Ds which I actually liked the most. Zatch Bell - Doable but not all eps were dubbed. Beyblade - Not doable for the original. Metal Fight and Burst are already being done by others. And I've also got some other projects involving Dragon Ball, Toriko, Cardcaptor Sakura and Zoids I wanna do. So much anime, so little time.

I've been having a blast experiencing this series for the first time through my own remux of your release and the utsubyou release. I was watching through episode 5, and when I put your dub track on the other release, the video and audio get out of sync at 4:24, when there's approximately a 7 second pause in the Japanese version. I was curious if you could fix that. It's the first and only mistake I've noticed so far in your wonderful release. I did a quick check through the rest of the episodes you've released, and they're all 23:07 in length, except episode 5, which is 7 seconds shorter. Thanks so much for the ambitious task of syncing a 4Kids dub to the Japanese video. I wanted to sync the 6 episodes of the uncut dub that were released on DVD, but that's just a bit beyond my skill level at this moment. I'm not sure how to get the video from the ISO files and mux them to the video I downloaded, and even if I did, I'd have to add a delay and the music for the second eyecatch that they skipped in their "uncut" release.

@Yatesuro Thanks for pointing that out. A fix for it shouldn't take too long. As far as I can tell, episode 5 is a little shorter but is missing the 5 seconds from 4:24. I could also add the uncut audio track for you too as there are differences from the TV dub.
