@warui Simplistic was talking about this torrent https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1244241 that was post just before I upload my torrent
also yes I'm using PGS subtitles from the blu-ray's
The quality of your encodes seem to have gone downhill! I use to look for your encodes now I try to avoid them....... Just some constructive criticism. Don't take it to heart! My opinion really doesn't matter that much. Just seems everybody is trying to make file sizes as small as they can, Just cause everybody else is doing it. It's like a game to most people. That's why you see 10 releases all compressed for the same show. Like it's a competition. Now I wait for the releases where people take months to release it cause of the proper subs and timing and best quality video. Anywho! Im sure lots others will enjoy it that don't care about waiting or having the best. That is all!
Probably because iAHQ is using SAO and strong-intra-smoothing which blur the image and kills details. With CRF 16 there's no reason to use them and should be turned off. Unless going for a clean look (but opening up for banding to creep up) psy-rd levels are really low for my taste.

Both sao and strong-intra-smoothing should really be used when going above CRF 18 or 19 in my opinion. Maybe if you got a old anime with heavy grain depending on source.
