There are a couple other uploads of this here that have subtitles; I’m not sure of the quality for either the subs nor the video for those releases. I’m intending to compare them at some point, but I’m uploading this beforehand as someone on /m/ wanted it. You very well may prefer the other releases, so I recommend comparing them to this. Likewise, just because this is a DVD ISO does not mean it’s going to be better than those - assuming they were competently encoded, they’ll be better than this.

Either way make sure you’re using good mpv scalers to get the most out of watching your chinese cartoons. Likewise you can edit the default look of the subs via mpv.conf or whichever frontend you use, so they don’t look quite as bad as the above example.
