Now, this isn’t completely original to what was shown on TV in Australia. There was originally a different theme song, used for the credits too (though, from what I can find and infer, besides text, exactly the same footage as the Jap OP and ED). And from what I can find there weren’t any title cards originally either. Not to mention how they weren’t aired in a movie-format like this. But that’s how, if I’m not mistaken, those Macross-purgatory-rulers put this version out. And this is also the most complete footage you’re gonna find of these episodes and in the best quality, so.
