I would highly recommend everyone to stay away from this release.
The translation is incredibly bad, the English is ESL to the max, and all cleaning, redrawing and other stuff is incredibly low quality.

I recently released a full set of “Grappler Baki” manga and I get the classic comment “ohh this translation is so bad, the guy doesn’t know what he’s doing, how come people that don’t speak English” posts, right? but Little do they know that the first five volumes aren’t mine, were ripped from a defunct magazine (raijin comics) that had a failed subscription service. So for starters, there’s that.

Also, Obviously they haven’t seen the original dvd release of “Grappler Baki” because, even though I still paid someone to translate all the 43 volumes. I was going for maximum quality and I LIFTED the translation verbatim from the licensed anime series. So, if you wanna complain about bad translations, sure go ahead. I’m not even well versed in Japanese at all

I did a bit of research and this is what I get. This translation is allegedly bad but scans looks good. Atleast 1st 3 volumes that I read. Alternative scans allegedly have better translations than this but still not good and they look bad. Can’t find official scans for this but there’s for New Grappler Baki. Will this get official scans soon or is there some new group redoing it properly?
