Are these just descaled re-encodes of ErnieYoung's raws, or are they encoded from transport streams?

Since you confirmed that you're encoding from transport streams, you're doing it wrong. The show should be deinterlaced to 59.940 frames per second, not 29.970. If you have the time, v2s for episodes 276, 278, 280, 281, and 282 would be extremely appreciated, since I don't have source files for those.
