This is a 6 minute Proof of Concept translation of the first episode of Ginga Sengoku Gun Yuuden Rai/Thunder Jet/ Legendary Heroes of Intergalactic Wars. It is a series I have fond memories of from seeing it on television in 2000/2001. However the only English release of it is from a Hong Kong DVD seemingly and the translation is... very questionable to say the very least. To note my translation is no doubt not perfect either, I do not speak or read Japanese and I used an Arabic translation of the Japanese source. However I myself can tell that some lines are mistranslated and I checked the dub as reference which surprisingly in some cases had a more logical translation which I then used. I however, do not intend to resume this on my own as it is very time consuming to do this on my own especially when I am looking over 2 different sources and picking the more logical translation between them. If anyone has an interest in the series and is capable to assist in either timing or translation.
