@Zyl The anime does a shit job of explain but the world of Redo is basically a jrpg. Setsuna was super strong but she had a very low level cap, a hero's "bodily fluids" raise a persons level cap... because this is a light novel hentia plot and that how things work. Also just incase anyone is still holding out hope this turns into something better, the next arc with leonerd is probably the 2nd or 3rd worst mindbreak, rape, torture scene.

@Proy-G-Bivo Im with you 100% its a shame that the mangaka decided to go through traditional channels (Kadokawa) to market it , instead of putting it out independently and having the show be a REAL naughty hentai (produced by one of the major hentai outfits) however the lure of having a big name publisher and a possible affilliation with a big name studio (Sony owns part of Kadokawa so that means $$$$$$$$$$) but in showbusiness, MONEY TALKS!

@Zyl I couldnt have said it better myself I am loving this show because the outragers are rheeing their bums off because it dosent abide by their ( hypocritical and corrupted) "standards" if this show got "better" it would lose its edge and be just another standard Fruits Basket type anime show that would make the female the accidental hero empowered and the men become the castrated butts of jokes and have to conform to and live off in some miserable normalcy., (un) happily ever after. Mainstream anime and manga need concepts like these. that think outside the box . This is the "Deadpool" of anime . it shouldnt be lumped together w the isekai quartet category (Shield Hero fuffills the job just fine) or be spun off into a child-palatable one off series. Its the perfect admixture of fantasy elements and realistic situations ( sadly the things that Keyaru had to experience are a part of some peoples lives. people male and female, are abused and treated like garbage, especially by the upper classes. ( insert Freya) its a fact of life! and it teaches the golden rule if you dont start no shit, there wont be no shit Ex. IMHO Freya/Flare got what she deserved. if the roles were reversed and she were the main character this show would be famous on a near One Piece level with every NPC applauding it and she would be celebrated as one of the great anime heroines ) This is refreshingly Mature Animated Storytelling and ought stay so. If they took the plot twist "jump the shark" route and switch the stories focus to have Freya and Setsuna as Mary Sue Type heroes and Keyaru being pushed to the back or being bitched up into being a standard male loser protagonist ( a la standard eechi anime) or have something outlandish to milk the series beyond a first season as a cash grab (remember Kadokawa which is allied with Soyny, (not a typo) owns this series)
