Kiteretsu Daihyakka - キテレツ大百科 - 1987.11.02 TV Special - VHS RIP So, like, I ripped this VHS maaaaaaaaaany years ago. Like, many many many years ago, and it really wasn't the greatest rip ever. So, in 2013 I decided to do a new rip with a much better VCR (yay for JVC SVHS decks, and all that), and it's been just laying around on one of my harddrives for years. So, here, all of you deserve this. So, I'm guessing that you're going into this fully familiar with the series, right? Have you seen the old rip of this? If not, get ready to see the origins of Kiteretsu, enough Korosuke goodness to make you squee for the rest of your life, screaming to yourself, "hey, why is his visor green????", and an enjoyable 72 minutes of a child prodigy and his weird machines. If you HAVE seen the old rip, the colors are much more stable. Oh, and the audio doesn't sound like someone didn't stuff their laundry in your speaker. Much clearer, much crisper. Not familiar? Familiar with Fujiko F. Fujio's classic Doraemon franchise? Great, get ready for 72 minutes of "hey, he kinda looks like Nobita. But he's actually smart. What the hell?" Trust me, you'll love it. Korosuke lovers? Yeah, isn't that a great ending? I hecking want a Korosuke! Oh, and I also scanned the VHS artwork. Aren't I swell? Anyone wanna sub this? Go ahead. Just give Sato's Refuge a little credit. Pretty please??? -Sato (of Sato's Refuge) p.s. There's chapter marks. You're welcome.

Thanks! Can you please rip Doraemon 1979 vhs volumes?

Unfortunately, I don't have much in the way of Doraemon episodes on VHS, just a couple tapes of seasonal specials, and they have copy protection. I do have a lot of Doraemon movies on laserdisc, but DVD rips of those shouldn't be hard to find online, and are much better quality.
OK, thanks. BTW I have hard time downloading, could you please upload the special and vhs cover scan to mega? Regards
I would very like to see the LaserDisc version of Doraemon. LD and DVD are very different, i always prefer LD

@chuby - The Doraemon LDs that I have are mainly movies and maybe a TV special or two, and I only have some TV specials collections on VHS. I don't believe that the laserdisc versions of the movies differ from the DVD versions, at least not for the ones that I've seen. Some of the earlier LD releases of the movies are not very good transfers, I'd definitely recommend going the DVD route for the movies.
