Not that anyone asked, but Abema TV does not have great image quality. CR and Amazon are going to be better in just about every frame (even though Amazon will probably have lower filesize), and Funimation will have better image quality during 90% of scenes. This is due to some sort of weird filtering/denoising that Abema does. They also mess with the audio, meaning that audio quality is going to overall be worse than CR/Funi/TV/Amazon.

Abema messes with their audio by amplifying it. I think any "less compressed DR" is going to actually just be simple amplification. I'd be happy to see a counterexample though if you can point me to one. In general, you can't look at frequency cutoffs and get any insight into how good audio is. There's no frequency cutoff for Wakanim DL, but their audio is trash all the same.

I still cannot reliably tell what’s the difference between a “bad” audio and a “good” audio apart from songs.
