Here is the complete series of Hikari no Senshi Diamond Eye, or simply Diamond Eye, in a raw format. Special thanks goes out to Kaiju of the old sub group Hi no Tori for graciously providing me with the ISOs to rip this series from. These files were ripped in Handbrake using the Fast 480p 30fps MP4 option, and came out looking just fine. They are in a raw, unsubbed format, which makes it perfect for a fansub group to pick up as a project! Just give me credit as a raw provider; "Henshin Man" is fine. Enjoy this hard-to-find series, and be sure to seed as long as you can!

@HenshinMan: if you're unsure about the settings then you could have a look at the scene rules, e.g. https://scenerules.org/d.html?get=nfo/sdtvx2642k16.nfo. E.g. "--subme 7 or --me hex are not allowed.", those create poor results. With your fast settings you even ended up with subme=6. Yes, that's worse. :) The smaller your resolution the more careful you must be about dropping picture and compression quality in favour of encoding speed. I do recommend to use the "veryslow" preset and "film" tune as base when encoding dramas for archiving. "Fast" is testing-only territory already. You also could decrease the cfr down to 19 (max. recommended by scene rules) or even lower to 18 or 17 to gain more quality. File sizes will increase the lower you go, of course. Also you should use AAC instead mp3 for the audio. For comparison: typical half hour 30fps dramas encodes in around 2 to 3 h here. Anyway, if you're happy with your encodes, then that's perfectly fine too. :)

@fuhbaer2: Thank you very much for the insight on encoding! This was my first time using Handbrake (if that wasn't obvious), so while I'm happy with how it turned out, I'm always looking to learn more and improve. I also have a batch of Fuun Lion Maru raws I'm working on that I started encoding in 576p (with an adjusted 30fps and not the default 25), but was also using the fast setting. I'll have to take another look at those and see if I can't adjust a few things and make them better. Thanks again!
