Here are episodes 1-3 of Ashi Productions' 1978-1979 giant robot series, Blocker Army IV Machine Blaster, with new English subtitles. I used the new 576p raws from R-Raws and scrapped everything ARR did. I timed each episode, translated each episode, and subbed each episode. The only thing I didn't do were the song lyrics, because I am hell with translating Japanese singing; I chose instead to leave the credits as they were, so that you get to enjoy the animation instead. The only reason these are hardsubs is because of my past history as a You Tuber; You Tube only understands hardsubs, so I had to burn the subtitles into the video in order to upload it. Now that I'm no longer on You Tube, I'll probably be making soft subbed MKVs. Stay tuned. This series was Ashi Productions' first solo project, which ended up running for 36 episodes before getting canceled. They tried very hard to separate it from the influx of giant robot shows that were out at the time--the token fat guy is actually the experienced team leader, the hotheaded pilot is the fourth-stringer, and there are four separate robots that the heroes pilot. Sadly, they don't combine to form a larger robot, probably due to budget restrictions and that the combining plot device wasn't widely in use yet. The show's robot designs are also very awkward, and the toys did not sell well in Japan due to that, and we all know that when a toy show's toys bomb, the show goes with it. Machine Blaster is nearly forgotten in the history of giant robot media, which is why I picked it up as a project and tried my best to give it better treatment than ARR did. I hope you enjoy this rare piece of giant robot anime history, and be sure to seed for as long as you can!

I am a fan of obscure old school anime, this sounds like my cup of tea. Thank you for your efforts!
