The TerrA subs are rather awful since they're translated from the Finnish dub - which changed a lot of lines from the original Japanese, and also cut certain parts out.

That's fair, but you gotta remember that the anime is based on a Finnish book series, so the TerrA subtitles is probably more accurate to the source material than what the Japanese dialogue is.

@Protagonist, Except, the books were originally written in Swedish. Also, accuracy towards the source material in a dub/sub matters little when it doesn't match the original video and audio source it's dubbing over or the subtitles are supposed to match.
