What Is This Project?
Rebuild of Naruto is a complete reedit, restructure, and overall enhancement to the Naruto anime. The goal of this project is to create the definitive viewing experience for both old fans and new. Like other fan edits, this project removes most filler as well as removing all padding/fluff from the anime (such as unnecessary exposition, repetitive flashbacks, elongated shots, etc.). Unlike other fan edits however, trimming down the anime is simply a byproduct of everything else offered in this project.
The main selling point with Rebuild of Naruto is the narrative restructuring. Fans who have finished either the manga or anime should be rather familiar with the many instances that Kishimoto changed details of the story over the course of the manga. However, what's truly remarkable about Kishimoto as a storyteller is that he managed to make even the most drastic changes without making many retcons (changing events we have already seen to support new information). Instead he used flashbacks to either show us new scenes that occurred during sections of the story we had already seen, or to reveal new information through the perspective of another character. This method of "retconning" was fantastic when the story was unfolding but now that the story is over this method has unfortunately left quite a sloppy mess of the chronology. That is what this project aims to correct - to enhance the storytelling of the anime with the benefit of hindsight.
Another main aspect of this project is that each story arc is being presented as a feature length film/series of films. Every episode in a story arc are seamlessly stitched together to create a naturally flowing feature film. This was another byproduct of the many features of this project, such as cutting out all fluff/most filler and restructuring certain aspects of the story.

Deep down we all know these adaptations like Naruto, OP etc are dogshit produced by SEA slaves, even skipping the "filler" won't save you from extreme padding and recycles.
The good kai/edit projects are unironically the best way of consuming the anime versions of those series. If only they didn't completely wreck the video quality in the process.... But you can't have it all i guess.
I think you did a pretty good job on the most part, but next time pay attention to the music. It's pretty clear when you make a cut, as the track breaks in tempo, sometimes several times in a row. I noticed this when Zabuza first starts the mist technique agaisnt Kakashi. It's something that can be avoided rather easily if you can get the BPM for the song playing in the background and cutting on parts that would make sense both musically and in rhythm.
A lot of what made the Zabuza arc very emotional for me was trimmed and/or re-structured in your version, but I think the pacing was fine the way it was in the original.
