@bump71 Fansubbing is NOT almost dead. The movie industry tried to kill it off through funimation by starting group called Speed Subs in 2007. They began releasing subs for new episodes 20 mins after the raws were released. Back then it was taking the best groups an hour to get subs out.It. slowly groups began to disband due to a lack of interest for their subs. Fansubs slowed down.then in 2012 subs began to have translation errors. fansubbing picked up again
