It was the Japanese that had the wrong names. The Subs were their proper Chinese name. You know because the series is set in China.

Yes, Chinese names for the win, because Kingdom is set in ancient China. I know it's a matter of preference, though, so both versions should be available.

These subs have the proper chinese names. It's just the Character names are Japanese because that's what the Manga translation is like

@GongBiao please do the early seasons, this is so nice to watch as I read the manga as well, and when the name is spoken and subs didn't match, raised my blood-pressure.
