Japanese audio is not great quality, but so is every other release including the LDs 2. M&E was transferred losslessly from the LDBOX's digital PCM tracks over TOSLINK with a ESI U24XL, and synced to the episodes using the English track as reference. The M&E is particularly notable for this series as it's the only way to listen to the OST which has been lost since the original broadcast. Pilot Films' subtitles have been OCR'd from the original USDVD VOBSUBs, and styled with the intention of mimicking how Discotek may have done it if they were able to include the Pilots on their release. 2. The Japanese CC is a direct rip from DragsterFS's Netflix Japan WEB-DLs, other than needed changes for sync. The master on Netflix only used OP1 and removed all NEPs, so those are not captioned. I am aware the furigana may be unreadable for a native speaker, but I wasn't able to find a sane method of handling this in either SRT or ASS. Apologies. ### Extras 1. **ME テープ復元 BGM コレクション**: This is an "album" consisting of the OST restoration attempted by the VAP mastering team and included as a bonus feature for the 1994 VAP LDBOX. Each track has been split corresponding to how they were originally split and named on the LD. The music was transferred using the same lossless process as the M&Es. To my knowledge, these have never been ripped and released publicly before. 2. **NCOP-NCEDs**: Creditless OPs and EDs. The source from which they are from is indicated in the filename; note that all known sources of creditless OPs and ED of Part 1 are bad frameblended telecines, and this is also the case for the Discotek BD. 3. **Pilot Films**: Mentioned earlier, these are the Pilot Films created by TMS to pitch the concept of a Lupin anime to both movie studios and TV networks. Previously unavailable in anything but a telecine made on 70s era equipment, they are presented here in HD from an Amazon WEB-DL. ### Thanks - Discotek for the great remaster; I would highly advise that if you have the means to support this release to do so.
