If you download the torrent, you need to apply the patches yourself. It takes 2 sec to download and apply don’t worry.
Else you can just specify a default subs language in your media player.

I remember that ReinForce or IrizaRaws S02E24 was probably the non-credit ending version.

Ce n’est pas pour rien que je ne recommande plus VLC depuis des lustres. En plus du potentiel de problème de rendu d’image, le player est vraiment mauvais avec les sous-titres .ass.
Pour ce qui est de la cause exacte, il s’agit des sous-titres, dont les propriétés de résolution sont set à 640x360. Je ne sais plus d’où ils proviennent exactement, apparemment c’est rip de Crunchyroll donc va savoir si le problème vient d’eux ou si la personne qui a publié la release dont j’ai extrait les sous-titres a fait une modification. Deux solutions s’offrent à toi : modifier la résolution des sous-titres avec des logiciels, ou changer de media player pour MPV qui n’a pas ce soucis car il s’adapte bien mieux à la situation.

Lol, I had some color artifacts on the screen while watching and I was like what the heck, can’t be that script for titles… Then I figured out that I haven’t updated MPV for a while… It seems that some older versions of MPV had problems with AV1? because every other type worked perfectly… Just a note if someone has problems, update MPV ( if you are using it)

Yes, we discovered it first on the discord server and I notified the dav1d devs (AV1 decoder) about it and it was fixed not long after. Still means that some older versions of MPV are still affected by the issue.

@NekoTrix - Is there a patch or fix for the slime diaries episode 5 audio sync problem?

The Japanese audio is fine, but the English doesn’t sync properly throughout the whole episode. Seems to need a fully new audio track.

@NekoTrix - Sadly, it didn’t help as it’s the Japanese audio track you uploaded… we need a fix for the ENGLISH audio track. ;)

@NekoTrix - I think I sorted out the problem. Someone’s copy (TTGA or maybe Ember) of the BD/Rip seems corrupt. Episode 5 starts with Rimuru slamming his hand on a table. I downloaded the Ember copy and their video/audio goes directly to the dialog and doesn’t show the “hand slam” scene at all. I haven’t been able to grab the TTGA copy yet, but it seems like a widespread issue as AnimeTime has the same problem. Your video includes the “Hand slam” scene and lines up with the Japanese audio, but the English audio goes directly to the dialog just like the Ember/AnimeTime copies. This makes the English audio off by about 1 second. I’ve found that the Yameii web copy of episode 5 does have the proper audio… only issue is it’s a Web copy so if they made any timing or dialog changes in the BD then there might be another issues I’m unware of yet. That said, I’ve remuxed the Yameii english audio into your episode 5 for myself. Up to you if you want to grab their audio and re-encode it to your liking.
