highlight of the day thanks
is this where it becomes a shitty 2nd rate shounen with power levels? Or when?
Yes, my friend, pretty much. It does become a rather shitty plot-armor/convenience shounen, in my completely objective opinion. **I have read the** _— may Allah (s.w.t.) forgive me —_ **manga**, and by some dark impulse I was curious enough to finish it just to get to the ending and see what the whole fuss is about. I don't understand why Jigokuraku is so highly praised. You've reached the peak of intrigue with the invincible plant people and monster form reveal. It'll try to keep riding that wave from now on with more semi-interesting "twists" added on top.
damn... yeah it just felt that way. Didn't read the source material on this one. Gotta say it's still better than the overhyped Oshi no ko, I really can't wrap my head around why everybody is going nuts over that 2nd rate trash
Aye, this is definitely better. But still, **it'll only get worse from here on out.** Everything feels half-baked / rushed, the writting is lackluster and concepts are superficially explored. You'll see what I mean. This doesn't have a shred of the world & character building Vinland or Magus Bride have. You're better off sticking to those. Jigokuraku is just tolerable filler when you're waiting for good shows' episodes. Inshallah.
I see. As a creative writer and without divulging anything I'll say that it's easy to come up with an idea, and it's way harder to flesh it out. The serialization and structure of manga is toxic because it predicates your creativity to a weekly time slot, where mangaka do not have time to explore or if they go somewhere they can't retcon it without making the series look like a joke. Godspeed.
I didn't think of this before. Now, I would say it's a skill only good mangaka have and whoever wrote Jigoku just got lucky somehow that people started to like it alot for some reason. There are those capable of writing good manga despite the numerous constraints. I had high hopes for this aswell, but it's just mid, sadly. **Barakallah, my friend.** 🙏
How likely are you to recommend a Windows PC to others, if asked?
