Hi! It’s as the torrent says. I’ve made a collection for the reboot series of Cardfight!! Vanguard. Why? Cuz someone asked me to, lol. Since the last version, someone else had made a COMPLETE (so far) batch of the entire series. So why did I undertake this project? Because my other batch is in 720p! That’s genuinely and literally it. Theirs is 1080p. So it’s a thing of consistency for those who may have downloaded the other one I made and file size. It’s nice to have alternatives, so I took on the request. If you’ve never watched Vanguard before, you can find my batch of the original series in 720p here. You can find the whole series up to season 1 of Willdress in 1080p here.

What is V series, you ask? It’s a reboot of the original Vanguard series that is more in line with Itou Akira’s manga. It’s not entirely 1:1, but that’s the premise and raison d’être aside from wanting to start a new format in the card game. So the characters’ personalities mostly differ from the original 2011 anime. I haven’t watched the reboot, but I’ve read a chunk of the manga. The manga is fresh and I like that it’s an alternate canon, for better or for worse! But I can’t pass judgement on the reboot having not seen it. It’s controversial, some people really like it, some people really wanna pretend it doesn’t exist. Somewhere in the middle of the Venn diagram there’s stuff both parties can agree on. Overall, the relationship people have with it is pretty complicated. That’s not even going into the reception of the new format. I’m a new fan who got into it during the pandemic so I can’t talk much about this, but it’s good for you to give it a fair shake yourself, knowing that it’s a bit polarizing so reviews may not reflect your experience.

Will I do Overdress/Willdress/etc? Probably not, their releases are still new and the show is still ongoing, so as long as it remains on that continuity I’m not gonna think about it. By the way, season 1 of OD was an absolute stinker, but everything after has been an absolute banger so if you dropped it I super recommend you go back and give it a fair shot!
I might do a Kiteseekers-Wasurenai Milky Holmes batch one day. Who knows. I’m still planning on uploading the original Cardfight Vanguard manga (raw) next… whenever I have all of it. Kinda buying it one by one as I read it~

If you enjoy the series, I hope you find it in you to support it by buying the card game (it’s pretty fun and affordable, especially D format! And it’s doing pretty damn well lately!!), DVDs/blurays, video games and other official merchandise. I recognize the irony of asking this on the cat site, but it’s not like you gotta anyway. (Also psssttt check out From Argonavis… two of the bands from there are heavily involved with Vanguard’s music lately, Argonavis (band) did the ED for Shinemon even)
If there are any issues with the encode there’s nothing I can do… I can’t troubleshoot anything honestly. These are pretty much the files as they were uploaded. If anyone wants to upload this to a seedbox, that’d be great! Cheers!
