The Onimai Blu-Rays were recently released. It turns out that they have serious problems. Like many other Japanese BDs, the colors in some scenes have been [blurred for no good reason](https://slow.pics/c/U4DcPpUq). I don't want to encode the BDs for this show. If I were going to encode them, I would do the following: compare the strength of chroma edgemasks in BD and Abema, look at scenes where the BD's edgemasks are weaker, and see if the chroma and/or [luma](https://slow.pics/c/eLPpQDz7) in those scenes needs to be replaced by Crunchyroll's. CR is overall a much better quality source than Abema, but for the super-high-motion scenes from 0:18-0:36 in the ED, Abema has about twice CR's bitrate, so it's a better source there. The full season of Abema is not available on nyaa, and that's why I'm making this torrent—so that YOU, yes YOU, can splice Abema/CR into the BDs and create the BD release that the show deserves (?). Sometimes studios will change their ED credits for the BD release, so be careful of that when deciding whether/where to splice.
