Same here ,thank you to everyone who still seeding this torrent.
Its 2021 still many seeders. Thank you for seeding this all this time :)
Thank you Nyaa for the posting and the keeping, appreciate the manga enclosed.
This is the only Anime I dropped due to how boring it was (90% of it is in the desert with nothing much happening). But, I will give this another chance! Maybe also because I watched this first in a shitty English Dub (especially with the lame VAs). I will finish this for sure. Thanks for keeping this alive!
@SomaHeir never watch a Anime with ENG dub. All of them are shit. Go for original VA. (Most of the time it's Jap.) And then pick up a good sub.
@chriskris Thanks to watching most anime as they air, I have only seen the Japanese dub for most, but here is what I can say about a few that I have seen both versions of off the top of my head: Trigun: English dub is better, full stop. Rurouni Kenshin: Both have their pros and cons. Except for Kenshin, most Japanese VAs are better than the English VAs, but only by a bit. It's not a huge difference. The official Japanese sub translation is also better than the English dub translation. However, Kenshin's English voice is infinitely better than his Japanese voice. So much so that it ends up making up for literally everyone else being a bit better in Japanese combined. The Japanese and English versions come out about even. For the OVAs, all bets are off. The Japanese version is kinda bad (and they are all extremely different from the manga), and the English version is some of the worst shit you will ever hear. Dragon Ball: Goku/Gohan/Goten etc are better in English. Vegeta/Piccolo/Frieza etc better in Japanese. The Japanese dialogue is WAY better. Like, it's not even a comparison. That alone is enough to make up for the difference in main character performances. The English dialogue is cheesy AF and very often completely different from the original. Heat Guy J: The English and Japanese are dead even. Both have some of the best VAs in their respective languages in the industry doing top-tier performances. If I rewatch this, I watch every other episode in English or Japanese just to soak in both. Chrono Crusade: Chrono's Japanese voice alone is enough to make the Japanese version come out on top. The rest isn't worth discussing. Fushigi Yuugi: The English dub is complete and utter trash. One of the worst dubs ever (right up there with the Rurouni Kenshin OVAs). Japanese wins by a mile. I've seen others in both Japanese and English, but that's about all that I can clearly remember both versions for off the top of my head. tl;dr Broaden your horizons a bit and throw away your biases.
I forgot to mention the OG 2006 Fate/stay night anime. I watched the Japanese version when it originally aired, then bought the North American DVDs as they were released later on, watching the English dub in bursts as I got each new disc. ...I actually gave up on the English dub 16 episodes in and never finished it...
