First off I just want to say that this album in particular was a pain to find for a price that didnt make me gag. Only last week did I finally get a good deal on a copy. (~35 dollars vs. the average listings of ~100 dollars). Patience is your best friend.
Anyhow, this is a BGM album from the 1969 series Kurenai Sanshiro (AKA Judo Boy elsewhere). Comes from the same composer as Mach GoGoGo (Nobuyoshi Koshibe), so having the opportunity to hear another samping of his music is always nice. Stylistically it's nothing too different, honestly lots of the tracks could be swapped into the other show and not stick out. So if you're already a fan of Mach GoGoGo's music, this will scratch that same itch.
And good news, this is another one of the few anime of this time that you can watch in it's original form with subtitles, you can find it here on Nyaa or stream it on HiDive. HD remaster looks very nice.
Hope you enjoy, please seed!
PS : If the cover image looks sussy to you, that's not me, the print quality on the front art for whatever reason is just kinda poor.
