However, the upscaling algorithms for each season are quite variable, which caused the lines with more or less blurring, aliasing and ringing. Through rescaling and slight anti-aliasing, we successfully fixed these issues. Some static endcards feature serious aliasing due to downscaling. We separately adopted a better neural network algorithm to reconstruct these images. The banding issues in each season are also different. The later the season is, the fewer banding issues there are. Fortunately none of it was difficult to fix, and we used an adaptive de-banding method to remove them. Some of the dynamic scenes in the whole series, especially the OP parts, have serious problems such as bad-encoded lines, DCT noise, blocking, etc. We used another neural network algorithm to fix these scenes separately, which can be seen in Screenshots Pair 1 and 6.
