V2 due to a Z Movie 6 muxing error. Also took the opportunity to reencode every movie with proper Plex compatibility and reduced filesize (at identical quality). If you care about any of that, redownload everything. Otherwise, grab Z Movie 6 and you’re good!
Many years since their 2018 release, I’ve finally put together a basic color-corrected version of the Dragon Ball movie remasters!
These films have primarily been globally white balanced and lightly levelled. In more troublesome movies, scenes were broken down into sections to ensure better accuracy. Ultimately, 100% perfection really isn’t the goal here; this project exists to provide an experience of these movies free of the terrible array tints found across the initial release. Once Seed of Might release their version that will no doubt go over the balance and hues with a fine tooth comb, you can consider this obsolete.
Until then, this is your best bet and is easily better than any other options are this point, so download and enjoy!

Thanks for de-greening the movies and Toei still does this for some reason.
I hope Dragon Ball Daima doesn’t have this green tint crap.

Absolutely fantastic! Thanks for doing these.

This is great! My one thing is that the titles of the movie that appear in Japanese seem to be left untranslated on the subtitles, I believe they would normally show, not sure if that’s from the subtitle track you ripped or something, but just wanted you to know.
correvlr
@KingOfBunnies do you mean lines like the default lines or something like this?

KingOfBunnies
@correvir Yeah, like the movie title cards. Whenever the Japanese title shows up, so like for Z Movie 3, it will just show the Japanese title but not have “Super Decisive Battle for Earth” with it. It’s a small thing, but I think it works to have it there for all the movies rather than just leave this untranslated Japanese text there.
Weirdly, some movies still have it. Z Movie 9 still puts the title in the subtitles when it shows up, but that seems to use the old single translation, so Goku still says “So Cell has become the one who defeated Cell, huh?” Which was a mistake that accidentally slipped through and I think was fixed in the “remastered” steelbooks? But those also took off the translated Japanese titles from the subtitle tracks.

Roughly timed the ASS subtitles from this release and these SRT subtitles (which include the movie titles and Cell line correction) to the release above (decode link with Base64):
KingOfBunnies
@MadSpecialist You didn’t have to do that, but I appreciate it. Thank you!

Thanks Tracksuit-kun.
Hope DBZ gets a good blu ray release soon.
