Therefore, audio and subs were synced using sushi net. We prioritized timing the subtitles with the Japanese audio tracks extensively. If there are any specific instances where the timing seems off, we encourage you to let us know. In a frame by frame analysis of multiple episodes we noticed that some subtitle sentences could be off by one to two frames. On the previous test release, we received no feedback regarding subs. FAQ Q: Is it better than SoM's color correction? A: Personal preference. SoM did and continue to do awesome work. Q: Subs are sometimes off by 1 or 2 frames compared to SoM A: FRBD is few seconds longer than SoM and includes few hundred frames more per episode so the subs were re-synced to match FRBD Q: There are comments(s) on the FRBD release that JPN audio on the FRBD is not perfectly timed A: We used JPN tracks to time a lot. In theory there is FR audio as well, but there is no feedback at all regarding it. Q: Why did you only do 68 episodes? A: Because that's what AB Video released.
