Terrorists, furries, nazis, and hamas supports in general, gather round and listen to the tale of some weird fish chick that isnt a mermaid for whatever reason. Now in the best english audio mixing you've ever heard! The original theatrical English surround sound 5.1 mix from the 2008 theatrical run disney gave the movie in the state ripped right from a DTS disc Disney themselves sent to theaters and long since stolen by a Stacy with a body count of 1 in a happy successful traditional marriage with more loving children than the average American ghetto highschool graduate can count, aka 3. After painstakingly re-syncing the audio to the FraMeSToR bluray remux taken off of usenet for the best possible picture quality, the audio has been nearly losslessly compressed into a friendly ac3 container at the full bitrate of 640kbps. To get the full effect of this you will need an actual home theater system, not some laptop or phone bullshit with or without headphones that most weebs pretend is ok to use.
Please enjoy it, I know I will. Thank you wpr for the nessesary file.

Wait, so we took an old lossy codec track and transcoded it to a different equally-old lossy codec? Wouldn't it have made more sense to use EAC3 so we're getting a more modern codec and variable bitrate, or just using FLAC if you're worried about quality?

from hydescord:
>Cinema DTS CDs use a different codec than regular DTS and require special decoding. You are also wrong on the following:
E-AC-3 does not support variable bitrate
E-AC-3 is basically just a bandaid on AC-3, with very little benefits over AC-3 from an up-to-date encoder, at least at bitrates <= 640k
E-AC-3 is barely modern, introduced in the early 2000s (it was part of the HD-DVD spec for gods sake), but...
age of the codec matters less than how well it's designed, FLAC and AAC are also quite dated at this point and still hold up well
despite the same age, AC-3 is more efficient and requires less bitrate for the same quality than DTS
While I agree lossless would be preferable, as encoding it as FLAC (or TrueHD if you're more worried about compatibility) would have probably resulted in a minimally bigger file (~1100k?) and no quality loss, I can't imagine the loss here is noticable.
This should've been encoded similar to the Howl's Moving Castle Cinema DTS release.
The dub is in DTS-ES 6.1, so the dub should be encoded as DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1-ES, like with Howl.
It's a DTS-ES 6.1 track, not a standard 5.1 one.
