From Nono:
---
Hello, Nono here~! ML04 has been gracious enough to help me upload this up to Nyaa~!
Special thanks to all the people in "Good Job Media" for teaching me how to work the Karaoke Effects, the hotkeys, and redirecting me towards the tools and resources in Aegisub that made the typesetting in these subs possible! You're all amazing~!
Please re-seed this as much as possible.
If you're a member of any other torrenting sites, please send these that way as well if it's not already there. Also please link this to as many forums or social media servers(Discord and the like) that you know has a sizeable enough Brave fanbase if you can. I have been made aware that the Brave fanbase lacks centralization, so there may be a good chance that a large amount of people who'll care may not know that Might Gaine's translation has finally been completed.
For the people who already own the videos and already know how to create their own subtitles,
- Zip file: https://mega.nz/file/bRRGDayB#yVsXWZ82WYr7_RmK3Q5SOCqvXtHdEVbhf8AczUURgOo
- The non-zipped file if the zip file gives you any issues: https://mega.nz/folder/mM5AVArD#ivJRafqxQDXfRmh8duLBuw
Note: you'll want to click the non-zipped file and navigate to the fonts folder → test clips. These will show you what the animated text/ani-text are meant to look like.
Important for people who watch on mobile:
Ideally you'll want to watch the soft subs on MPV, which can be found on:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=is.xyz.mpv for Android.
- You'll want to download this if you're using a video player that doesn't support .ASS
- or because .ASS Karaoke Effects are broken on VLC Mobile for some reason.
The hardsub files are there for people who don't wish to download a new video player, however it is only done in the PDSG format because looking at progress bars while remuxing a video into hardsubs is not fun, and I didn't want to do it 188 times.
- There's also the file space problem, since these would end up sitting on my hard drive for the forseeable future.
Note for people with the Blu-rays:
This is only the first part of this project, I wanted to get out the last few translations left of this series as fast as the process of making decent quality subtitles could allow. The last part of this project will be to re-create the PDSG subs for the first 28 episodes to allow for people to watch the blu-ray release.
Do keep in mind this may take significantly longer to get this out than the two and a half months it took to get this half of the project completed, as I've become fairly busy, and I'm only a single person handling the entire project.
I have made four different subtitle formats, each with varying level of "localization" as it were,
[PDSG] Standard: This is the default, and follows the same mixed amount of honorifics and localization for things like "Onee-chan" and the like that PDSG did for the original 28 episodes, with some alterations here and there. Created for the sake of making the transition from PDSG to the newer subs less jarring for people who pay attention to these kinds of things.
[Weebified]: What it says on the tin, all Japanese honorifics aside from obvious or official translations such as "Hakase → Professor" are left as they are. Joe's title "Ace no Joe" is also left as is.
[Un-weebified]: All Japanese honorifics are translated to English versions, or removed if they don't have a good English alternative.
[No Honorifics]: What it says on the tins, there are no honorifics here at all, Japanese or otherwise with the sole exception of a few instances of "Mister" due to it actually being spoken.

All of this was done because when I looked up on google what the preferred experience was, clicked on the first relevant result, I found a long argument as to what was preferred. After about the 20th reply, and seeing that the argument from all three different perspectives had become circular, I gave up reading, filed this under "things that are subjective", and simply decided to make four "different" kinds of subs for viewers of all kinds.
I reformatted the original 28 PDSG episodes to .MKV to match file formats with the new subs, and for the purposes of having all the subtitles in one place. The overall file size being smaller helps too.
Changes to Episodes 29-33 and 38 made by @Great Exkaiser103 AKA @IDreamofMaito AKA @IDoM
- I added all the typesetting I learned from later episodes in an attempt to recreate PDSG's typesetting to these.
- Redid a few of the translations(not many) for better accuracy to the original script.
- Changed the OP to be more like PDSG's renditition, with some slight alterations.
- Translated and added the next episode previews that plays at the end of the ED for all of these.
Changes to Episodes 34 and 35 made by @FantomConvoy:
- Added the Great Dash insert song subtitles
- Changed the OP to be more like PDSG's renditition, with some slight alterations.
- Added the Japanese version of the lyrics using the Da-Garn sub template
Changes to Episode 36 and 40 made by @Adeyaki Adeliya
- Almost literally everything, this was a complete overhaul due to the timings being off and some things sounding off.
Why are Episodes 37 and 39 labeled with your name?
- The person who translated episodes 36, 37, 39, and 40 translated things in a fashion that had poor grammar, and all four episodes didn't quite follow proper timings.
- As a result, as above, 36 and 40 ended up being entirely overhauled by directly translating from the original JP file, while episodes 37 and 39 kept some of the original translation that Adeyaki Adeliya had, with some grammar correcting.
- As episode 37 had me retranslating a fairly significant amount, so my name got shifted forward, whereas 39 only required some minor overhauling and grammar correction and not quite as many re-translated lines.

Nono has requested that I mention that they forgot to mux some default windows fonts into the videos, and that there is a folder with those fonts in the mega folder linked above (Fonts/Fonts for Non Windows Viewers). Users on non-Windows devices are recommended to ensure they have them installed. Our apologies for the inconvienience.
