If you're ~~as autistic as I am~~ curious about any difference between **this** and the Amazon rip that's on all the direct DL sites:
**TL;DR Amazon had mixed sample rates & an extra 0.0065s of silence at the beginning of every track**.
_That's it_. If you already had it, there's really no reason to get this again...unless you want your dog, dolphin, or pet bat to listen to tracks 2, 3, and 8.
* Track 2 Moonlightspeed is only **44/16** on Amazon. The single was 96/24 elsewhere
+ That single and this album version don't match at all with a bit-compare but they sound the same...
* Tracks 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 are identical*
* there are extra null samples on Amazon, a full comparison log for Track 1 is below as an example
* all 5 have the same `624 leading null samples` offset
* Track 3 Midnight Mission and Track 8 Yoru Wo Matsu Yo are _both 48/24 on Amazon, **and** on their singles_ but 96/24 here
* Amazon album and previously released singles match
* `312 leading null samples` on Amazon for both
It's always **exactly 6.5ms** of extra silence at the beginning on Amazon. `312/48000 == 624/96000 == 0.0065s`.
Not sure if there's a technical reason for that or not, ~~maybe whatever ripper "they" use~~ it's such an arbitrary number though...don't care, already bored.
