Reuploaded due to a series of accidents that resulted in me being unable to seed my own torrent *and* the last torrent getting deleted. (I'm really sorry about that, I don't want to spam nyaa, I'll try not to let this happen again.) Also threw in a minor v2 for eps 1-2 while I was at it.
If you have the v1 version of either or both, you can **[patch it to the new version](https://mega.nz/file/cbIlUCqC#nU5fJ0lfXvvzvE-ulO4h1MBsV3Cnytu6JskaxFvvamk)** without needing to redownload the files. You can run the patch even if one of them's already patched.
This is a subbed release of the audio commentary for the episode 1+2+skit special and episode 43, which was included on the 2014 Japanese Blu-ray.
The video is x264/AAC, encoded directly from my own personal copy of the Blu-ray box.
The track structure for both files is as such:
| | Audio |
| --- | --- |
| Track 1 | Episode audio |
| Track 2 | Commentary |
| | Subtitles |
| --- | --- |
| Track 1 | Episode subs |
| Track 2 | Commentary subs (color-coded) |
| Track 3 | Commentary subs (black and white) |
Since the original episode audio/subs are included, if you already have a copy of the series, you can fully swap out your episode 1-2 and 43 files with this.
If you'd rather use your own footage/encode, feel free to make your own mux with our audio/scripts as long as you credit us (Hudie Subs). We're distributing the scripts by themselves **[here](https://mega.nz/folder/YOpGSZ7a#cQ5SAOx3GkEngO3LxEpXVQ)**.
In regards to the rest of the series, we did [a full retranslation](https://hudiesubs.wordpress.com/saint-tail/) last year, mainly meant to address the fact that all of the previous translations -- including the most recent official English release -- were based off an old 2001 Tokyopop translation that had mistranslated lines all over the place and made the story functionally nonsensical. The new translation has been redone completely from scratch.
For various reasons (one big one being that I'd prefer to use my own Blu-ray to make encodes rather than rely on existing raws), we haven't put together a formal muxed release ourselves, but we give our blessing to anyone who wants to use our scripts in muxes, so if you want something premade, something like [this](https://nyaa.iss.one/view/1769671) should work fine (the scripts for episodes 2, 12, and 36 were updated since that torrent was uploaded, but the changes are minor). Again, you can just replace episodes 1-2 and 43 with the versions in this release.
