I assume “modified commie subs” means only some light editing was done and the base script is the same. Are the Typesetting modifications major or minor, if any?

no way to know really unless you download and compare every episode. it could be just fixing typos or it could be something really stupid based on past experience.

Translator’s note: the “really stupid” thing was removing song lyrics for a song that did not need to be translated.

As a community, we never typeset non-Japanese, non-English signs, yet you’re out here telling me that it’s wrong not to translate non-Japanese, non-English songs. Seems inconsistent.

There are too many changed items to list.

I’m pro-tling non-japanese songs if it makes sense for the scene tbh (montages, not any dialogue, etc–just as one would any other insert). I feel like in this case, it can only be additive.
