I loved the direction of this episode, and I want to watch more by whoever is responsible for it.
This episode I changed how everyone refers to the owner of Shiba Seki Ramen. Somehow, through all my rereading of Volume 1, it had slipped my mind how much more varied he's addressed. Maybe because he gets less screen time in the game. But at least that's improved now.
Life's been seriously kicking me down with deadlines and curveballs, so I'm not sure when the release of v2 will be. I haven't been able to work on it yet. It should only be a few days of work though, just gotta find the time for that. I'm excited to revisit earlier episodes with my current knowledge and workflow.

I’m using MPC-HC 1.7.10 (64-bit), VIDEO Mixing Renderer 9 Renderless. I try changing Direct Show video (MADVR etc. . ) but nothing changes.
I guess it is too advanced for mine?
This issue also happen when I try playing it in following player/devices:
-xplayer (android phone)
-samsung smart tv (using external drive)
-LG smart tv (using external drive)
Same with my MPC, normal subtitle and ending song can still be displayed (even though in plain text). But 1 of those TV show show opening song as single column with lyric centered in middle and every word separated with line break
I downloaded that version and tried to run it, and it works fine:
The video renderer is irrelevant here.
TVs typically don't have the subtitle renderers required to play back ASS subtitles properly, and it will instead try to strip the subtitle line as much as it can. This is why you get a bunch of words separated, since we make extensive use of layering to create a bunch of effects, which won't render properly.
This is why Kaleido only officially supports mpv, as we can more readily guarantee everything will play back as intended. If you want to keep using MPC-HC, you will need to grab the latest version [here](https://github.com/clsid2/mpc-hc/releases) and double-check that it's using `libass` for subtitle rendering.
If you want to play back subs on a TV, we recommend you use a media server like plex. They will hardsub the video before passing it on to your TV, so it should also display correctly (and they also use mpv as the backend player). Alternatively, use an HDMI cable and connect that to a laptop that plays back the video using mpv.
@WitchyMary: Just install it. work like a charm :) it even automatically rotate my phone screen record! New UI looks intimidating but it retain my previous setting
