@smol - After a deeper look it appears I need to significantly adjust my chroma-qp offset and lower my denoiser settings. Thanks for the callout, even if it was a bit hyperbolic. I'll be looking to change it for my next encoded series.

I mean, I personally have no idea why smol bothered to post those two comps. They seem like a nothingburger to me. The most critical thing I could say about them would be "it would be nice if we didn't see starved chroma in a 3GB encode, yeah." If someone showed me the red scene comp with no accompanying explanation, I wouldn't know what they were complaining about or what they wanted me to do about it.

(you should also significantly tweak your anti-aliasing)

Chihiro and his spastic upload sizes as usual, the guy genuinely thinks bigger file = better quality, LOL. Man I really miss the old encoders from 15 years ago that actually wrote down entire scientific papers on how close to the screen you have to sit to notice a difference at 1,5mbps versus 25mbps, those were the days of intellectuals! How low we fallen, this is basically akin to VHS taping over your older VHS copy.

@Chihiro Episodes after Episode 7 are missing the fonts for the opening karaoke.
