Well, they chopped the living hell out of the novels and left out so much background info stuff, just dropping its story quality, glad I've read all the novels, you haven't do it will fill in some much missing stuff on everything
if they didn't do some much of hack job on this you could easily made twenty-four ep's, and this just the first few novels of 20 ln's
