Mashle isn’t in any way original for having the concept on a non-magic person being in a magical academy. There’s probably a hundred western novels with a similar premise. That said I liked Mashle but I feel like the stakes and plot got way out of hand way fast. I just like slower pacing. If anything this anime reminds me more of DanMachi going off EP - 1, only the MC already seems way too strong which is my biggest gripe, especially because he looks like a fucking twink

I think you missed the point of mashle. listen, now: it’s a comedy. if you can’t laugh, then don’t watch.
