I know of no other source than this one for the original Dragon Ball show to exist in HD in original 4:3 fullscreen.
Uncut in HEVC 8bit codec and with japanese stereo in OPUS codec.

@ Eikira
Officially, there's the Spanish Blu-ray upscale by Selecta Vision which used the DBox as its source. It honestly could look a lot better with a color correction and it has all NEPs.
@ Ethan
That may be we'll ever get from AB as it seems they didn't ask permission to use the Broadcast Audio or some other reason. It's not canceled, just pending.
@Impakt i am at the moment lost and dont know what 'NEP' means. i have the mexican spanish versions of the dragon ball movies, the fullscreen 4:3, and they clearly are not just upscaled. dragon ball z i know of Selecta Vision versions sure, but dragon ball the show, no seems to be the only source this one, the amazon italian web version out there. and this one is also more than just an upscale. colors are just original there is nothing in my opinion to correct.
i am just glad to share this, i saw some other 720p versions here but no 1080p ones. and i dont know if those other ones are just 16:9 zoomed in.

It reminds me of something. Wasn't it the same kind of story about first release (pre 2010) of Grendizer DVD in France?
Not to ask permission... because if one can go along without getting caught, why bother? Or better have a chance to get something instead of a no... I wonder if this sort of things happen in other countries, or is it something really French?...

Not sure... Isn't it "Next Episode" at the end? (before or after the end credits)
oh next episode preview i see yes.
true interesting why they thought cutting that away was necessary. funny enough, EVERY episode is 24 minutes and 11 seconds long. crazy actually.
